Appendix G: What Comes Next
What do I do the second time I teach the class? Early on I didn’t realize I would have such a range of students (freshmen to seniors) and I didn’t think the course was particularly appropriate for freshmen. You might also have differently abled students struggling to comprehend the course and what it was about (e.g., SUCCEED students). Who can I approach to help them be successful? What is my role beyond just teaching the class to help students become successful? Now I know to always ask “What do you need from me to be successful?” And often the answers will surprise you.
