We might try to infuse team projects into our courses. Such projects give students the opportunity to practice skills in collaboration and communication that they will continue to use in the workforce. However, students often face challenges with team projects. This is a valid and important concern, but generative AI could help you with designing effective and meaningful collaborations among your students!

Preparation

You should begin with a clear vision of what the team project should involve, of what the collaboration will entail. Once you have developed a general plan, generative AI can help you with providing scaffolding and structure to ensure that teams thrive and do well. This technology can empower you and your students by developing activities, resources, and more to support team projects.
