Welcome to Evidence-Based Practice for Clinical and Diagnostic Professionals!

This text is divided into two sections. In the first section, we will provide an overview of evidence-based practice and how it is currently being used across healthcare delivery and within the clinical and diagnostic sciences communities. We will also examine the evidence-based practice cycle and practice each step of the process. In the second section, we will apply the evidence-based practice cycle to the analysis of patient cases. Each case will help you understand how your professional role intersects with the roles of other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal health outcomes for the patient.
